Selection by texture color

This may be a long shot, but -- is there any way for triangles to be selected by the color of the texture mapped to them?  For example, if all  my photos have a white sky, bring the photogrammetric model into meshmixer, and delete all the tris with the sky white mapped on them?

Based on the texture that's impossible in MM.
But it's possible using per vertex color.

So you need to import a model owning texture as well as per vertex color.
e.g. Meshlab (Filters/Texture/TransferTexture to VertexColor) can color the vertices based on the texture while keeping the texture map.
You can transfer texture color to per vertex color in MM running EDIT/MakeSolid too. But this way you'll loose the texture and colouring via per vertex color needs a dense solid result to show up properly.

Now if you have a twice-colored mesh imported to MM:
In SELECT select a piece of the to be removed color. Set ExpandMode to VertexColorSimilarity. Now RMB-drag upwards to expand the selection to similar coloured faces (Note this requires NavigationMode: Meshmixer; see Preferences)
