Using an IMac
« on: September 18, 2017, 08:20:46 AM »
I am new to meshmixer, I am having a few problems.  1) I can not navigate around my model.  2) I can not set up my printer.  I have a Mono Price Maker Select.  I have attempted to use the custom settings, but mesh mixer does not save them, or I can not find them in the printer selection.  The main problem is my inability to navigate my model.

In menu:Help you'll find a pdf "KeyboardShortcuts" listing the keys you've to press while dragging the mouse (with pressed LMB or RMB - depends on the set Navigation Mode)

Setting up a printer is a bit complicated in MM 3.2. You'll need to manually copy and edit a template file ("custom_printers.xml") you'll find in Documents/Meshmixer/printers.... (setting a printer via MM's preferences does not work in this version)
Or you'll try the current beta 3.2.487 where you can set up a printer via MM's Preferences dialog as shown here:
http://www.mmmanual.com/printing/
You may get this beta here:http://download.autodesk.com/us/support/report_a_bug.html?SelProduct=Meshmixer
I'm just a user as you are. Being no Autodesk employee: I do not know where this road will lead to, nor do I claim to've all stuff got right.
