Black square when using brush
« on: March 27, 2017, 04:55:02 AM »
When using a brush to edit a mesh, I get a black square outline all around the brush sphere gizmo.

1.) Start Meshmixer v 11.0.544
2.) Import Bunny
3.) Activate Sculpt
4.) Move mouse over mesh

Attached is an image of what it looks like here.

This is on Win 7 x64 SP1, using a Geforce GTX 780, nvidia drivers 361.75

Well, this is some kind of minor issue using UV-checker shader on a mesh where no UVs exist.
(at Tyson:This happens on my latest beta (RC) too)

Drag a different shader (not the checkerboard shader) onto your object and all should be fine.
I'm just a user as you are. Being no Autodesk employee: I do not know where this road will lead to, nor do I claim to've all stuff got right.

Indeed, using a different shader removes the black rectangle.

It doesn't matter which shader I use. I still get a gray colored square around my tool in sculpt mode. It darkens all areas i move the tool over.
