meshmixer06 preview

Below are links to an updated version of meshmixer. Please test (sorry, no OSX versions tonight - I have to borrow a macbook to make those! Need more hardware...)

New stuff:
0) Tweaked brush strengths, pen-pressure response curve. I want to know if it is strong enough now....
     - ctrl+wheel changes brush size, too
1) light sphere materials. Click on the little sphere in the top-left (beside the little head). You have to *DRAG MATERIALS ONTO MODEL* to switch. Not just click.
      - Right click to import your own light spheres images
      - SEND ME MORE LIGHT SPHERES. Please make sure they are your own work, so I can include them in the installer.
2) UI hotkey tweaks  (hotkeys shown in some places, like "Accept/a", and there are more hotkeys. Some don't actually work yet. Sorry.)
3) Smooth Boundary moved to Modify Selection menu
4) Selections preserved after some operations (not all yet, though)
5) new Transform Faces tool (under Deform menu...)  
             - kinda like Extrude++ right now. Don't use with areas containing a boundary (yet)
6) maybe some other things (for you to find...)

**UPDATE** now works on NVidia, or so I'm told...

you mean strength?  ???

Will try ASAP! 32bit version i only have 2GB of Ram anyhow so.. ehhh..  8)

Ummm... it doesnt even run  on my computer it totally locked up my system! LMAO

had to reboot!

Just uninstalled version2 and reinstalled MeshMixer5 V1 the old one and it works fine..

Maybe need to recompile it or something..  ???

What kind of graphics card do you have?

Can you try generating a log file, as described here: http://meshmixer.com/help/faq.html#GenerateLogFileWin

I have an Nvidia 8600GT 256MB the driver is not brand new, but not ancient,, a few months old.

argh. my new light shader must be crashing.

Man how am I going to fix this...I don't have an NVidia machine anymore!

NVidia is the best, not sure why any programmer wouldnt have one..  ??? CUDA ANYONE???  :P

Anyhow.. even tried installing it over the top of the old version and still NO Go same crash..

I was able to install the Old one over the top of the New one(without uninstalling) and it works fine.

well, right now the only computer I have is a laptop, and it came with an ATI =)

It dumps the shader logs to the log file...maybe will help me debug...
