Download problem - package failure

I tried to download Meshmixer but the package failed:
Viewing the details of the failure the errors were:
Ran ldconfig
error: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set in the environment.

(zenity:4801): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
dpkg: error processing package meshmixer (--install):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Processing triggers for gnome-menus (3.10.1-0ubuntu2) ...

Errors were encountered while processing:

Iam usng Ubuntu 14.04. Any suggestions?

Sorry, can't help that much on Linux issues.

Anyhow: I'll move this request to the Linux section. Maybe a Linux guy will find it there...
