Memory Purge
« on: September 11, 2015, 03:36:03 PM »
Thinking this should be a pretty simple one, the idea inspired by the same addition to my rendering software:

On-demand (i.e. Menu command) Memory Purge.  Effectively it just strips the undo history.  Since MM keeps a decent amount of history, and that includes when one does something stupidly Memory-Intensive, this would be very helpful in un-bogging when the laggys start setting in.

Today I typically just Save/Close/Open-File which accomplishes the same thing....but is obviously quite a few more clicks :)

Just a thought, it's a little tool I've gotten quite fond of having :)
